Just thought i'd do a little re-cap on Mayer Hawthorne for anyone who has missed the guy who's recently covered Chromeo's 'When The Night Falls' and was featured on the track 'Love In Motion' from SebAstians album.

His 2009 album ' A Strange Arrangement' was a triumph in silky smooth soul with massive throw-backs leading you to imagine the time when the sound Hawthorne creates was current rather than retro. Playing the majority of the instruments himself and with some playful subtle humour in his videos what's not to like about this guy?
