Shiny Disco Club's first compilation is definitely one of my favourite compilations of the last few years. I discovered so many new artists which i now love from that collection of songs.

So, as you can imagine i'm really really excited about volume 2.

Some better known artists involved such as Vanguard, Louis La Roche, Quinten 909 and Go Go Bizkitt but also plenty of lesser known talent.

With his album 'Hello You' just around the corner what better way to kick things off than with a double A side single.

At the moment we just have two remixes of 'The Wall' but what a way to tease us.

On remix duty are Shook and J Paul Getto which is not a bad way for anyone to start off the remixes on their new EP.

The J Paul Getto remix is straight out for the dancefloors.

"Scenery is no ordinary mixtape, all featured songs are edits, remixes, ideas and originals from Louis La Roche, who told us “There will be no tracklisting, the idea is that Scenery is a listening experience of short songs that create a journey for the listener. This is a free project, released digitally by myself, and each part will come with individual artwork.”

Well that's what Louis has to say on the matter. That should give you a good insight into what to expect here. You might be surprised by this mixtape. Louis takes a look at some real soulful gems mixed with some interesting spoken word.

Overall it's a very interesting listening experience and one i would definitely recommend if you fancy a slightly different vibe to the usual mixtapes we post.

This is part one of the trilogy. Released May 1st 2011, Part 2 coming June 1st.

Here's a tasty little sample from one of the guys i'm most excited about at the moment...Louis La Roche.

He's been doing a series of live mixes online and i was lucky enough to be doing nothing much during the airing of the last one. IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT, i found myself furiously googling every song in it straight after. My favorite moments were taken from his new EP which is very exciting indeed.

After the mix he took some time out to answer a few questions and said, amongst other things, to expect a single in march and and album come july/summer time. I cannot wait.

Louis La Roche vs Sigma

Louis La Roche's 'Airwave' made it onto my 'Dance tracks' list of the year so it's a big complement to post a remix of a song i already held in such high regard.

To be honest, the reason i like this remix is that it hasn't tried to shy away from the massive bass in the original but rather, given it a new and refreshing twist.

I didn't know this track could have any more boggieability.
