Enjoy the likes of Four Tet and Toro Y Moi? If so, you'll probably like Baths, aka Will Wiesenfeld; a 'one man orchestra and choir' who describes his work as 'songwriting from an electronic perspective'. His debut album 'Cerulean' has a refreshing collection of intelligent hip hop tracks, with an electronic influence that has become recognizable of late in the LA scene, (so I'm told). His own stylistic vocals, comparable to that of Passion Pit's Michael Angelakos, offer a nice alternative to the typical arrogant rap of commercial hip hop; have a watch of the video below, a little trip to his Myspace for more tracks and a final journey over here to get the album if you so wish. Job done.
